Easy!!
Just get on the new highway which anyone there can lead you to. Follow the beautiful highway all the way to the end – maybe 1.5 hours. Turn right (east) on Highway 5.
Follow Highway 5 towards Samana until you get to Sanchez – maybe 20 minutes. A few minutes before getting in Sanchez you will start driving past a huge-long wall on your right. This wall must be ¼ mile long so you can’t miss it.
Once in Sanchez, you will see a Texaco station on your left. Turn left at the next road. This is the road that goes over the mountain and drops right down into Las Terrenas. It is approximately 14 kilometers now to Las Terrenas.
This is a beautiful road with many gorgeous overlooks. They are presently doing a lot of work on it to make it safer. They are probably about 75% done with this work. But still, there are quite a lot of turns and blind curves so take it easy!
